South Africa is amazing country,with unique growing car culture,landscape and tradition that is loudly sung under the scorching sun in the entire Africa continent.With amazing landscape of Africa came epic roads,narrow and rocky defiled deep cliff-drops that will attract any go hard pro-drift driver in the world for epic rubber screams.One of it is seen at the Franschhoek Pass with rich history in the continent (over centuries old vineyards iconic trails).Franschhoek Motor Museum displays vintage cars amid the gordian knot rifts in the mountainous farmland. Making it just a perfect drift spot to host the New Zealand born Formula Drift driver Mad Mike Whiddett.
Mad Mike flew his 1000hp Mazda RX8 to the iconic Franschhoek,SA  straight from Irwindale Speedway,CA action .Just having to see the native Mazda RX8 'Badbull' from little rear wrecks (little scratched) in south Africa was epic site enough for a lot of the thronging drifting fans in S.A which to our surprise has tremendously grown in the recent years. Drifting is now starting to conquer Africa nations where cross country rally championship was the thing in the days.

Conquer The Cape is an absolute success for Mad Mike by my observation,and the entire red-bull S.A team,who are involved in a lot of promotion events with red bull discovering new roads for the Mazda RX8 'the Badbull' to scratch. The whole video which you can watch HERE has captured the outright geographical phenomenal of the beautiful African nation-from the beautifully calling yet distant harsh mountains,sloppy yet glowing landscapes,the jungle wild life and yes a growing car culture and Motorsport enthusiasm that has tremendously grown since the last time Mad Mike was here (South Africa).

A part from the very known  Red Bull S.A organised 'Conquer the Cape' video shoot,Mad Mike  Whiddett was involved in a series of drifting in the South of Africa,one of them is the Super Drift Series round 6 edition in Mzansi, which Mad Mike crashed and wow the mighty applauding crowds. Super Drift Series has totally shocked us. Probably the number one Sub-Saharan drifting that exists and may be Africa's only professional drifting league in entire continent.
