When i quit my career in Kenya and knocked on the doors of the Middle East everyone told me to take care of myself.My family was scared and friends were bothered as well. Infested with world's most indigenous and exotic car-builds that roam the city like touring mammoth of Savanna,Qatar is one of the world's greatest destination for any auto-blogger pro or amatuer like myself. And when i finally got to leave Kenya and get tossed to a new arena,as a career young amateur photographer,nothing would hold my senses than a GTR 'hibye' at a Centenario on a midday 'miraged' Old Airport Road.I still rem that very scene. My first day on a real street race gathering. Being plunged into arena where Lambo and Ferrari's are so easy to hunt than a Toyota Mark II i sincerely had no idea what my work would be in Qatar. It didn't turn out that i would make a photo for my first publication. And the editors here,oh my goodness, are so mean when you can't hunt these cars down.

Clearly i was gonna need some place i would frequently visit and see these town's road monsters. Qatar Racing Club is a quiet place out of the suburbs of the Doha in the little known Industrial Area.
Here you get to spot Qatar's fastest cars put on there game to whoop world records on quarter mile or eighth mile.Oh and yes there is drifting and land speed too. Talk of under one house destination. All housed under QRC's Magnificent race track that is the world's flattest drag strip and home of the infamous top fuel team AlAnabi Racing team i clearly was starting to live in that dream.
Qatar Dream for speed is as real as it gets.

So why am i here diarizing this? Because unlike usual days when am after the super cars today i tried something out of the ordinary.I took time off my busy schedule to hunt dumped used cars that would weigh so well in Kenya's scrap and metals if not reused as mutumba car. The 4 wheel culture will welcome your attention .These fleet of cars will look stock at first site impression but beneath the hood is a twin turbo precision system generating over 800HP. That's a car that can run 360km/h in just 400m. The art of modification has over grown pro race cars.

In Qatar Life is too short to remain stock. Almost all the cars on these streets are turbo powered with some ill modifications that will blow your gas into a dry spell.Often they will look scrap with crazies car builds and nasty tags on the rear as "i came i saw i conquered."These cars will never attract your attention until you see them burn out. Witness them make J-Turns and slid into a smoky donuts. 4X4 in Qatar is another story for a day wait for Part 2 of the Car Culture In Qatar.
